I’ve spent 30+ years as a creative director, art director, designer, and team leader—gaining broad, international experience across branding, print, advertising, packaging, product, environmental, and digital design. I’ve worked with agencies, studios, and in-house teams, and started my own studio, Piper Design Co., in 1999.

I’ve had the opportunity to create award-winning work for everything from scrappy start-ups to global brands—like Gatorade, Adidas, Mercedes-Benz, Wella, Nordstrom, AT&T Wireless, Nintendo, Teague, and Microsoft.

The work I've contributed to has been recognized by the American Advertising Awards, Red Dot, Pentawards, Communication Arts, Print, ADC Germany, Type Directors Club, HOW, SXSW Interactive, Graphis, CLIO, and the Flash Film Festival in London.
